Gas fires stripped down, cleaned and safety tested, left burning cleanly and looking like new.
I take the fire apart properly rather than just giving it a wipe over. That means the burner, the pilot assembly and the heat exchanger all get cleaned, not just the bits you can see through the glass. A lot of the fires I'm called to haven't been touched in years and are running dirty as a result.
Once it's clean I check the gas pressure and test for soundness, then check the flue is drawing properly before I sign it off. You get the fire back looking like new and running safely, with the paperwork to prove it.

Had my gas fire serviced. Ian from Adaptagas did it last year and once again it was first rate! Fire looks like new! Ian is the most friendly, genuine person you could meet and does an exceptional job!
Previously used Adaptagas and very good. Had a problem with the central heating today and rang Ian who talked me through it on the phone and I put the boiler right. Cheers for the help mate.
